Best Feature
Mira
reż. Marie Limkilde
Denmark
We decided to choose the film Mira because it felt the most authentic to us in terms of acting, dialogue, and the world it portrays. This made it easy to understand the main character, empathize with her situation, and see events from her perspective.
A major asset was also the inclusion of her drawings and notes; they looked natural and believable, effectively capturing her emotions and mindset. The film also tackles themes that are less frequently explored in cinema, making it stand out as the most interesting to us. Although the story is grounded and focuses on the character’s everyday experiences, it is never boring – on the contrary, it engages the viewer and encourages empathy.

Best Short
Elves don’t eat rice
dir. by Paweł Olearczyk
Poland
We think this film is just a bit better than the others and really stands out. This short movie shows the power of friendship and how simple 10-year-olds think. It is really well-made, the characters are great, and even though it’s short, it is full of beautiful values like friendship, sharing, and caring about other people.

Honorable Mention
Short Film
Just Imagine
dir. by Karolis Kveselis
Lithuania
The movie shows great values, but at the same time, it talks about real problems of today. It is about phone addiction, which is a very important and common topic in our world right now. We also think it’s great that the movie has no words, because this makes it very easy to understand for everyone who watches it.

Main Prize
Dreamland,
dir. by Mohsen Enayati
Iran
The filmmakers remind us that everyone has dreams, a need for purpose, and a desire to feel needed. At the same time, they unveil a reality where not everything is as it seems. The world can be unfair, yet this does not excuse us from taking action, nor does it strip away hope. This is a story about the search for identity and truth: the hardest kind, which is one’s own. It speaks of the courage to be oneself, even when being different.
Maintained in a fairy-tale convention, the film guides the viewer toward a universal message: honor and truth can triumph — not only on screen, but in reality as well.
It is also a moving story about friendship that transcends boundaries and differences. The serious, universal theme of the battle between good and evil is disarmed by a generous dose of humor. The superb visual style, blending vintage aesthetics with modernity, builds an evocative and memorable world. This Iranian film brings hope — the very same hope that once inspired great historical shifts — and reminds us that the dream of a good, just world can become a reality. Perhaps its future truly rests in the hands of the youngest generation.
